Job summary

Avanta Works is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator on a contract basis in Medina, Saudi Arabia. You will operate excavators and related heavy machinery at construction sites, adhering to project specs and safety standards.

Required are proven on-site excavation experience, a valid heavy equipment license, ability to read project plans, and strong English communication. The position includes monthly salary of 1800 USD and company-provided accommodation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Excavator Operator in a construction environment.
• Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification required.
• Ability to read project plans and follow instructions accurately.
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently according to project specifications.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and report any equipment malfunctions.
• Use hand signals or radios to communicate with ground crew and ensure safety at all times.
• Prepare work site by clearing debris, digging trenches and leveling the ground as needed.
• Load and transport materials to designated areas using the excavator.
• Keep accurate records of daily operations, including hours worked, materials used, and tasks completed.
