Job summary

Client of Profco seeks an experienced radiology consultant to report radiology and nuclear medicine exams in alignment with qualifications and privileges. You will ensure timely turnaround times and participate in on-call duties as required by the department.

Active involvement in education, quality initiatives, and research activities is expected, including supervision of residents and contributions to academic publications.

Qualifications

• Board certifications from major Western training pathways.
• Min. 3–4 years experience post Board or Fellowship.
• Experience in reporting radiology and/or nuclear medicine exams.

Responsibilities

• Report Radiology and/or NM exams according to qualification and privileges.
• Adhere to department turn-around times.
• Participate in education, training and quality initiatives.
• Carry out on-calls as required by the department.
• Serve in hospital committees as appointed by leadership.

Job description

Reporting Radiology and or NM Exams according to his/her qualification, privileges, and subspecialty.

Adhere to the turn-around time of the department when reporting the assigned exams.

Carry out on‑calls as required by the department.

Actively participates in QI activities.

Reports any violations of the rules and regulations of the department to the Chairman.

Participates in education and in formal education programmed of the Hospital.

Participate in training Residents, audit their work, and encourage them to produce research work and publication.

Participate in the Department Educational activities.

Serve in Hospital Committees as appointed by Chairman or Hospital Director.
