Job summary

Star Travels is seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Intensivist to join a reputed hospital in Saudi Arabia. The PICU Consultant will provide specialized care to critically ill infants, children and adolescents and will manage complex pediatric emergencies.

The role requires leadership of a multidisciplinary PICU team, with excellent communication and decision-making skills in high-acuity settings; Saudi experience is preferred and SCFHS registration eligibility is advantageous.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent qualification in Pediatric Intensive Care, Pediatrics or Critical Care.
• Consultant-level experience in PICU / Pediatric Critical Care.
• SCFHS registration eligibility preferred; valid medical registration.

Responsibilities

Role amp responsibilities We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Intensivist PICU Consultant to join a reputed hospital in Saudi Arabia The Consultant will be responsible for providing specialized comprehensive care to critically ill infants children and adolescents managing complex pediatric emergencies and leading a multidisciplinary PICU team

Eligibility & Qualifications

• MD / DNB / DM / DrNB / Fellowship or equivalent qualification in Pediatric Intensive Care / Pediatrics / Critical Care , as applicable.
• Relevant Consultant-level experience in PICU / Pediatric Critical Care.
• Valid medical registration in the candidate's home country.
• Candidates eligible for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification and registration will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge and clinical experience in pediatric critical care and emergency management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a tertiary-care / multispecialty hospital or dedicated PICU.
• Experience managing high-acuity pediatric patients.
• Experience with advanced pediatric critical-care procedures and technologies.
• Previous GCC / Saudi Arabia experience will be an advantage.
