Job summary

Star Travels is seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Intensivist to join a reputed hospital in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on providing specialized care to critically ill infants, children and adolescents, managing complex emergencies, and leading a multidisciplinary PICU team.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DM/DrNB or fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care, is eligible for SCFHS registration, and brings strong leadership and communication skills to advance patient outcomes and staff

Qualifications

• MD / Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care or equivalent.
• Consultant-level experience in PICU / Pediatric Critical Care.
• Valid medical registration and SCFHS eligibility preferred.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Intensivist / PICU Consultant to join a reputed hospital in Saudi Arabia.

The Consultant will be responsible for providing specialized, comprehensive care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents, managing complex pediatric emergencies, and leading a multidisciplinary PICU team.

Preferred candidate profile

Eligibility & Qualifications

• MD / DNB / DM / DrNB / Fellowship or equivalent qualification in Pediatric Intensive Care / Pediatrics / Critical Care, as applicable.
• Relevant Consultant-level experience in PICU / Pediatric Critical Care.
• Valid medical registration in the candidate's home country.
• Candidates eligible for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification and registration will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge and clinical experience in pediatric critical care and emergency management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a tertiary-care / multispecialty hospital or dedicated PICU.
• Experience managing high-acuity pediatric patients.
• Experience with advanced pediatric critical-care procedures and technologies.
• Previous GCC / Saudi Arabia experience will be an advantage.
