Hours/rotation:
Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid)& 2 days traveling (paid).
Salary range:

- Each Supervisor reports to the Construction Manager, with theexclusion of MCS and PIS that reports to MSP, when he is present in thesite team.
- He directs Subcontractor activities for his own discipline,ensuring that Plant Construction works are performed according to theerection schedules and Project documents, within the assigned costbudget, and according to Quality & Safety procedures, as well asaccording to the terms and conditions of the subcontract.
- One or more assistants to whom he may delegate some functions,may support him.
- Piping Supervisor to lead andoversee piping installation activities on a major EPC project.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising fieldexecution, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, safetystandards, and project schedules.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prior to the start of works, to check the Supplier’s material andtechnical documentation delivery schedule. Check that the same is inline with Construction schedules and contractual commitments.
- To check that the said schedule is kept to, and to promote actionto recover any delay.
- To check that the equipment and manpower employed by theSubcontractor are adequate and that the works performed by theSubcontractor conform to design documents, Safety regulations, and tothe Quality level fixed by the same.
- To prepare the non-conformity register for each Subcontractor andco-ordinate non-conformity resolution.
- To detect any design errors, and where possible rectify the sameor request the Site Engineer to make the necessary changes.
- To check Subcontractors’ work progress status sheets and sign thesame for approval.
- To assist the Contract Engineer in defining new prices, inpreparing amendments to subcontract and in analysing and discussingclaims.
- In Home Office (whenever possible) to cooperate with the projectteam for the Constructability and feasibility studies, with APPAL fortechnical tabulation of the civil bidders’ proposals and clarificationmeeting with the bidders, with civil department to analyse / define theWR to be included in the Scope of Work of Subcontractor.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
- University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- At least 8 years of Relevant experience in construction of largeOil & Gas plants/ EPC projects.

- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strongbias toward timely performance and problem resolution
