Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join the PMCM team delivering a landmark development in Riyadh. This delivery-focused role requires strong leadership of construction supervision, contractor management, stakeholder coordination, and project execution from a consultant/PMC environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Experience as Construction Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC, HSE, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all site construction activities within the project scope.
• Monitor contractor performance against schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, consultants, authorities, and client representatives.
• Review construction methodologies, logistics, recovery plans, and sequencing.
• Chair site progress meetings and report on project performance.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor HSE implementation and project quality standards.
• Review contractor resources and recommend corrective actions.
• Support commercial teams regarding claims, variations, delays, and risk mitigation.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong leadership of construction supervision activities, contractor management, stakeholder coordination, and project execution from a consultant/PMC environment.

The successful candidate will act as the Client's representative on site, driving construction progress, quality, safety, and compliance across multiple work fronts while ensuring successful project delivery in accordance with schedule and budget objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all site construction activities within the assigned project scope.
• Monitor contractor performance against approved schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, contractors, authorities, and client representatives.
• Review and monitor construction methodologies, logistics plans, recovery plans, and sequencing strategies.
• Chair site progress meetings and provide accurate reporting on project performance.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor implementation of HSE requirements and project quality standards.
• Review contractor resource deployment and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Support commercial and contract teams regarding claims, variations, delays, and risk mitigation measures.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Immediate availability or short notice period.

• Proven experience as Construction Manager, Senior Construction Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of construction supervision, QA/QC, HSE, contract administration, and stakeholder management.
