Job summary

Met T&S Ltd. is hiring a Construction Insulation & Painting Supervisor (IPS) in Saudi Arabia for a contractual assignment with a long-term development path through MAIREgroup.

The Painting Supervisor directs subcontractor painting activities, ensuring adherence to erection schedules, budgets, and safety/quality standards. Responsibilities include schedule alignment, progress review, non-conformity handling, design change coordination, and assisting in pricing and subcontract amendments.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• NACE, FROSIO or similar certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractor activities for painting, ensuring works follow erection schedules and project documents.
• Ensure schedule adherence and drive actions to recover delays.
• Verify subcontractor equipment and manpower meet design, safety, and quality standards.
• Prepare non-conformity register for each subcontractor and coordinate resolution.
• Detect design errors and coordinate site engineer changes as needed.
• Review subcontractors' progress sheets and sign off on approvals.
• Assist contract engineer in defining new prices and amendments to subcontracts, and analyze and discuss claims.

Position

Construction Insulation & Painting Supervisor (IPS) in our expanding staff, leading to a long‑term development path with MAIREgroup.

Role Overview

The Painting Supervisor directs subcontractor activities for painting, ensuring plant construction works are performed according to erection schedules and project documents, within cost budget, and following quality and safety procedures.

Activities and Main Responsibilities

• Prior to the start of works, check the supplier’s material and technical documentation delivery schedule and confirm alignment with construction schedules and contractual commitments.
• Ensure the schedule is maintained and promote actions to recover any delays.
• Verify that equipment and manpower employed by the subcontractor are adequate and that works performed conform to design documents, safety regulations, and the required quality level.
• Prepare the non‑conformity register for each subcontractor and coordinate the resolution of non‑conformities.
• Detect any design errors, rectify them where possible or request the site engineer to make necessary changes.
• Review subcontractors’ work progress status sheets and sign for approval.
• Assist the contract engineer in defining new prices, preparing amendments to subcontracts, and analysing and discussing claims.
