Job summary

Met T&S Ltd. seeks an Electrical Supervisor for a contractual, site-based role on an EPC Oil & Gas project in Saudi Arabia.

The position runs a 60/10 rotation with paid travel days and full accommodation/transportation provided by the company. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, have at least 8 years in similar roles on refinery projects, and demonstrate excellent communication, team spirit and a detail‑oriented approach to deliver on safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years’ work experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects or refinery.
• Significant experience in supervisory roles on site with safety and quality focus.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractor activities for electrical discipline to meet erection schedules and budgets.
• Ensure work complies with design documents, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare non-conformity registers and coordinate resolutions with subcontractors.
• Detect design errors and coordinate necessary changes with site engineer.
• Review subcontractors’ progress sheets and approve where appropriate.
• Assist contract engineer in pricing amendments and subcontract changes.
• Coordinate constructability studies and bid clarifications with project team.

Hours/rotation:

Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid)

Salary range:

• Each supervisor reports to the construction manager, with the exclusion of MCS and PIS that reports to MSP, when he / she is present in the site team.
• The electrical supervisor directs subcontractor activities for his / her own discipline, ensuring that plant construction works are performed according to the erection schedules and project documents, within the assigned cost budget, and according to quality & safety procedures, as well as according to the terms and conditions of the subcontract.
• One or more assistants to whom he / she may delegate some functions, may support him/ her.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prior to the start of works, to check the supplier’s material and technical documentation delivery schedule.
• Check that the same is in line with construction schedules and contractual commitments.
• To check that the said schedule is kept to, and to promote action to recover any delay.
• To check that the equipment and manpower employed by the subcontractor are adequate and that the works performed by the subcontractor conform to design documents, safety regulations, and to the quality level fixed by the same.
• To prepare the non-conformity register for each subcontractor and coordinate non-conformity resolution.
• To detect any design errors, and where possible rectify the same or request the site engineer to make the necessary changes.
• To check subcontractors’ work progress status sheets and sign the same for approval.
• To assist the contract engineer in defining new prices, in preparing amendments to subcontracts and in analyzing and discussing claims.
• In home office (whenever possible) to cooperate with the project team for the constructability and feasibility studies, with APPAL for technical tabulation of the civil bidders’ proposals and clarification meeting with the bidders, with civil department to analyze / define the WR to be included in the scope of work of subcontractor.

Knowledge & Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 year’s work experience.
• Significant experience in in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects / Refinery.
