Job summary

United Pharmaceuticals Company seeks an experienced Compliance Head to develop and implement the Group’s Compliance framework, ensuring regulatory requirements and governance standards are clearly defined, monitored, and managed.

The role collaborates with Legal, Internal Audit, Risk, Finance, HR, IT, Operations, and other functions to strengthen compliance awareness, identify regulatory risks, and provide independent reporting to senior management and relevant governance bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline as listed.
• 5+ years in establishing or managing a compliance function.
• Experience in healthcare/pharma or regulated sectors preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi regulatory requirements and governance.

Responsibilities

• Establish the Compliance function, operating model, policies, procedures, and annual plan.
• Develop and maintain a register of laws, regulations, licenses, and obligations.
• Perform compliance risk assessments across retail pharma, distribution, and corporate functions.
• Monitor compliance with Saudi healthcare, pharma, commercial, labour, data protection, and competition rules.
• Develop policies on conflicts of interest, gifts and anti-bribery, confidentiality, and third-party conduct.
• Implement whistleblowing framework and remediation processes.
• Prepare independent compliance reports to senior management and boards.
• Coordinate with Legal, Internal Audit, Risk, Finance, HR, IT, Operations, and authorities.
• Deliver compliance awareness and training across the Group.
