Job summary

Canon Middle East FZ LLC seeks a CKSA_Resident Engineer to be based in Riyadh for Saudi NATIONALS only, focusing on first-line troubleshooting and service support across Canon imaging and business solutions. You will work with local customers, report on labor and parts, optimize stock, and collaborate with account managers to drive service performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in electronics, mechanics or software.
• Relevant experience in the service industry.
• Experience in understanding and following health and safety guidelines.
• Demonstrates a high technical aptitude with excellent fault-finding skills.
• Good customer handling and communication skills; able to instruct customers.
• Team player focused on optimizing team output.
• Good commercial insight and business acumen.
• Represents Canon in conduct, communication and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line troubleshooting on most standalone and connected Canon products.
• Aim for a high first-time fix rate and minimize recalls using cost-effective labor and parts.
• Report labor and parts investment, using CAESAR coding structure.
• Optimize stock inventory and rotation and balance against return-to-fit visits.
• Signal commercial opportunities to Sales and Marketing using Onsite-Insight.
• Contribute to ongoing development of the team and service performance.
• Understand customer requirements to support Canon's Solution Business Strategy.
• Liaise and report to the account manager on customer issues.
• Identify super-users and train on Canon products and software, including drivers and features.
• Look for opportunities to develop other areas of the client’s business and liaise with the account manager.

Responsibilities

To provide first line trouble shooting (root cause of problems) on the vast majority of standalone and connected Products within their portfolio.

To achieve a high first-time fix rate and minimum recalls with the most cost-effective use of labor time and parts.

Report about labor and parts investment, counter-reading by using CAESAR (Canon European Service Admin Coding) coding structure.

Optimize the stock inventory and rotation and balance this against return to fit (RTF) visits.

Signal commercial opportunities to the sales and Marketing department by using 'Onsite-Insight'.

Make contributions to the ongoing development of the team and overall service performance.

Fully understand the customer requirements to support the functional approach of the Solution Business Strategy.

Liaise and report back to relevant account manager on customer issues.

Identify super-users and provide appropriate training on Canon products installed and software as appropriate, including printer drivers and features.

Look for opportunities to develop other areas of the clients business and liaise with the account manager accordingly.
