Job summary

Client of MABconsult is seeking an experienced Technical Office Manager – Civil to lead the Technical Office and coordinate Civil, Architectural and MEP disciplines on large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate brings strong BIM expertise, a track record in reviewing shop drawings and technical documents, and an ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, 15+ years of relevant experience, and in-depth

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
Strong background in technical office management and consultancy.
Extensive experience reviewing shop drawings, calculations and submittals.
Solid knowledge of Civil, Architectural works and MEP coordination.
Mandatory BIM knowledge with model review and clash detection experience.
Experience handling RFIs, technical queries, NCRs, SORs, and technical correspondence.
Familiarity with Saudi Building Code and international standards.
Experience on large-scale commercial, hospitality or mixed-use projects preferred.
Excellent communication, coordination, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead Technical Office team and review technical documents.
Coordinate Civil, Architectural and MEP disciplines to ensure deliverables meet project requirements.
Ensure compliance with codes, standards and approved drawings.
Manage RFIs, queries and technical correspondence.
Prioritize multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
