Job summary

Rosewood Calistoga seeks a visionary Director of Integrative Well-being to weave holistic wellness into every guest touchpoint across the resort. This role leads Asaya Spa, Fitness, Membership, Retail and curated wellness experiences, shaping a resort-wide philosophy of restorative luxury.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise wellbeing, wellness, hospitality, or culture-focused initiatives.
• Understanding of holistic wellbeing frameworks spanning physical, emotional, social, financial and environmental wellbeing.
• Well-developed leadership competencies: initiates action and leads by example.
• Strategic thinking with ability to formulate strategies and solve problems.
• Business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset and commercial thinking.
• People leadership—ability to inspire and develop teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written/verbal).
• Effective relationship management (internal/external) with a guest-centric approach.
• Strong guest centricity skills.
• Proven experience in a spa management role, preferably in a luxury 5-star hotel or high-end wellness facility.

Responsibilities

• Drive the commercial performance of Asaya Spa, Fitness, Membership, Retail and integrated well-being experiences.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts and business plans aligned with the resort’s strategic objectives.
• Identify new revenue opportunities through innovative programming, strategic partnerships and curated guest experiences.
• Partner with Finance, Marketing and Revenue Management to maximize commercial performance while strengthening positioning.
• Champion well-being as a defining element of the guest journey and ensure it is integrated across departments.
• Develop and lead the resort’s Integrative Well-being Strategy in collaboration with all operational departments.
• Provide strategic leadership for Asaya Spa, Fitness and Membership, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with the resort vision.
• Curate innovative experiences that connect nature, restoration, movement, nourishment, sleep and Sense of Place.
• Foster strategic partnerships and evolve the resort’s well-being offering in line with guest expectations and market trends.
• Ensure compliance with Rosewood standards, Forbes Travel Guide standards, health and safety requirements and best practices.
