Job summary

Rosewood Calistoga seeks a visionary Director of Integrative Well-being to weave holistic wellness into every guest touchpoint across the resort. This role leads Asaya Spa, Fitness, Membership, Retail and curated wellness experiences, shaping a resort-wide philosophy of restorative luxury.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise wellbeing, wellness, hospitality, or culture-focused initiatives.
• Understanding of holistic wellbeing frameworks spanning physical, emotional, social, financial and environmental wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Drive the commercial performance of Asaya Spa, Fitness, Membership, Retail and integrated well-being experiences.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts and business plans aligned with the resort’s strategic objectives.
• Identify new revenue opportunities through innovative programming, strategic partnerships and curated guest experiences.
• Partner with Finance, Marketing and Revenue Management to maximize commercial performance while strengthening positioning.
• Champion well-being as a defining element of the guest journey and ensure it is integrated across departments.
• Develop and lead the resort’s Integrative Well-being Strategy in collaboration with all operational departments.
• Provide strategic leadership for Asaya Spa, Fitness and Membership, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with the resort vision.
• Curate innovative experiences that connect nature, restoration, movement, nourishment, sleep and Sense of Place.
• Foster strategic partnerships and evolve the resort’s well-being offering in line with guest expectations and market trends.
• Ensure compliance with Rosewood standards, Forbes Travel Guide standards, health and safety requirements and best practices.

THE IMPACT OF THIS ROLE

The Director of Integrative Well-being serves as the visionary leader responsible for embedding well-being into every aspect of the Rosewood Calistoga guest journey. Rather than overseeing a standalone spa operation, this role champions a resort-wide philosophy that elevates well-being as a defining element of the property’s identity, culture, and service experience.

Working collaboratively across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Experiences, Retail, Recreation, Housekeeping, Landscaping, Learning & Development, and Asaya, the Director ensures that every guest touchpoint reflects a thoughtful approach to restoration, connection, movement, nourishment, sleep and nature immersion.

The role is responsible for curating and orchestrating a seamless ecosystem of experiences—from arrival rituals and in-room programming to outdoor adventures, culinary offerings, family activities, signature events and personalized itineraries—creating meaningful moments that inspire guests to feel restored, connected and transformed throughout their stay.

Beyond guest programming, the Director acts as an internal catalyst for a culture of well-being, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, training teams to deliver authentic experiences, developing strategic partnerships and ensuring that every operational decision supports the resort’s vision of holistic hospitality.

Success in this role is measured not only through the performance of Asaya, but through the overall impact of well-being on guest satisfaction, brand differentiation, ancillary revenue, repeat visitation and Rosewood Calistoga’s reputation as one of the world’s leading destinations for restorative luxury.

• Foster strategic partnerships and continuously evolve the resort’s well-being offering in line with guest expectations, market trends and the Rosewood brand.
