Job summary

Fraser Hospitality is looking for a Carpenter to join the team at Fraser Suites, Riyadh. As Carpenter, you will maintain all building related systems and the building envelop to ensure the safety of hotel guests, associates and vendors. Ensure compliance with Fraser Suites Riyadh standards as well as engineering assumptions/culture, preventative maintenance programs and procedures and all Building/Fire/Health Department codes. Maintain building complex as energy efficiency as possible constantly looking for ways to save energy.

What you will be doing as Carpenter

• Participate in pre-opening activities including setup of carpentry workshop, initial installations, and inspection of wooden structures and fittings
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and construction of wooden elements such as doors, windows, furniture, flooring, and decorative features Assist with setup of public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house spaces in readiness for opening
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety regulations in all work performed
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally during operations
• Support the Engineering team with general maintenance tasks as needed
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used
• Adheres to the daily task schedule and ensures timely implementation of all assigned work
• Maintains and inspects all carpentry tools and equipment to ensure they remain in optimal working condition
• Collaborates effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure seamless project completion
• Ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations and best practices within the Properties environment
• Conducts quality assurance checks on completed work to verify adherence to professional standards and specifications
• Prepares work areas and gathers necessary materials prior to commencing assigned tasks

What we’re looking for:

You have proven experience in a similar role with excellent technical skills and a strong understanding. You are an enthusiastic individual with at least 3 years of experience as a carpenter in luxury hospitality or similar environments. We are looking for someone with strong technical skill set in woodworking, finishing, and structural repairs. Your will be able to work on own and as part of a team.Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia and Fluency in English is essential.
