Job summary

Consulture Search is seeking an experienced business process manager to help define the BPM strategy, secure executive buy-in, and oversee the implementation of process improvement initiatives across the firm.

You will map current state workflows, analyse inefficiencies, and design the to-be optimised processes while aligning with regulatory objectives. The role requires collaboration with underwriting, claims, and IT to deliver measurable efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related major.
• Minimum 5-7 years' relevant Reinsurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of leading the business Excellence.
• MBA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Align BPM initiatives with the company's broader strategic and regulatory objectives.
• Prioritise process optimisation projects based on ROI, risk reduction, or regulatory urgency.
• Establish the company-wide process governance framework and standards for documentation.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business heads (Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial) and IT.
• Manage the BPM budget and report on operational efficiency gains to the executive team.
• Facilitate workshops with underwriters, actuaries, and claims managers to document end-to-end workflows (As-Is processes).
• Perform root-cause analysis on process delays (e.g., why a complex treaty slip takes too long to process).
• Design streamlined, risk-mitigated future state workflows (To-Be processes).
• Develop and track process metrics (e.g., cycle times for claims settlements, error rates in data entry).
• Author standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials for business users.

Main Responsibilities:
