Job summary

CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd. is seeking a Lead - back-end production supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality output, and uphold safety standards. You will guide the back-end team, optimize processes, and drive performance to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years manufacturing production experience; preferably in can/packaging.
• 1–2 years supervisory or team leader experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities; ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to motivate and lead a team.
• Demonstrated understanding of quality control principles and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and production specifications.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the back-end production team, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure all production processes meet established quality standards and specifications for can manufacturing.
• Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety audits and addressing any hazards promptly.
• Troubleshoot production issues and machine malfunctions, escalating complex problems to maintenance or engineering as needed.
• Train new team members on operational procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and report on team performance and output to management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, and contribute to their implementation.
• Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, output, and quality checks.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as front-end production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth workflow.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
