Kimpton is seeking a Banquet/Sales Coordinator to deliver exceptional service and support successful events. You will coordinate bookings from enquiry to completion, assist the Sales team with proposals and contracts, and ensure accurate event details and smooth operations across departments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field and 1+ years in Sales/Banquets/Events, preferably in a hotel. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Sales, Banquets, Events, or similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Coordinating banquet and event bookings from initial enquiry through to completion
• Assisting the Sales team with proposals, contracts, and client correspondence
• Maintaining accurate event details, schedules, and function sheets
• Coordinating with Banquet, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure smooth event operations
• Communicating with clients to understand their requirements and follow up on requests
• Assisting with site inspections and promoting the hotel’s meeting and banquet facilities

What We Need from You:

• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
• One or more years of experience in Sales, Banquets, Events, or a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Good command of written and spoken English required
