Job summary

Tabby is seeking a Backend Engineer II to scale the systems behind its core products in a fast-growing fintech environment. You will contribute to high-impact projects with a world-class team spread across 20+ countries.

You will develop in Golang, design scalable distributed services, and work with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, GCP, and GitLab in a microservices setup. This role emphasizes clean, testable code, independent work, and strong English communication in a globally distributed

Qualifications

• Backend experience with Go (Golang), ideally shipping production-grade services.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and high-load architectures.
• Fluent English communication, B2 level or higher.

Backend Engineer II

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to help scale the systems behind Tabby’s core products. You’ll work on high-impact projects in a high-growth environment, alongside a world-class remote engineering team spread across 20+ countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend engineering experience, with ideally commercial experience in Golang
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems and working with high-load architectures
• Solid understanding of backend tools and technologies — we use PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, GitLab, and a microservices architecture
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product development
• A passion for writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 level or higher)
