Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking an ID Install Technician to support network infrastructure deployments in next-generation data center environments. You will operate with autonomy in fast-paced, mission-critical settings while maintaining high accuracy and safety.

The role requires hardware rack installation, structured cabling, hardware deployment, validation, and troubleshooting, with collaboration across Network Engineering, Operations, Security, and Logistics teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience in computer networking and TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or CS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of next-generation network infrastructure across global data centers.
• Rack installation, structured cabling, hardware deployment, validation and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Operations, Security and Logistics teams.
• Own outcomes with attention to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Identify risks and ensure adherence to standards in high-pressure environments.
