Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an ID Install Technician to support deployment of next-generation network infrastructure across global data centers in Madrid. The role emphasizes rack installation, cabling, hardware deployment, validation, and rigorous troubleshooting with close collaboration to Engineering, Operations, Security and Logistics teams.

Qualifications

Experience in diagnosing and repairing computer hardware.
Hands-on networking experience and TCP/IP knowledge.
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and data center technologies.
Understanding fiber optic and copper cabling standards and testing methods.
Knowledge of network design and L1/L2 troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Support deployment of next-generation network infrastructure across global data centers.
Rack installation, structured cabling, hardware deployment, validation and troubleshooting at scale.
Collaborate with Network Engineering, Operations, Security and Logistics teams to deliver builds with precision.
Operate in fast-paced, mission-critical environments with ownership and attention to detail.
Identify risks, enforce safety/quality standards, and uphold operational excellence.
