Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in network engineering, IT, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in network operations or data centers.
• Hands-on with network gear, cabling, patching, and rack installation.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP.
• Basic troubleshooting using Ping and Traceroute.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• CCNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support LAN/WAN connectivity and resolve issues.

Support daily network operations, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including data center environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and troubleshoot LAN/WAN network connectivity.
• Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting of switches, routers, VLANs, and network devices.
• Install and replace network equipment in data centers and network rooms.
• Perform network patching, fiber/copper cabling, labeling, and cable management.
• Support network changes, maintenance activities, and equipment relocation/decommissioning.
• Monitor network alerts and resolve technical issues within agreed SLAs.
• Maintain network documentation, equipment records, and change information.
• Follow data center safety, access, security, and change management procedures.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, vendors, and other IT teams when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Networks, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in network operations and/or data center environments.
