Job summary

United Motors Company in Medina is seeking an Auto Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles to manufacturer and company standards, ensuring safe operation and customer satisfaction.

You will use diagnostic tools to identify faults, perform repairs on engine, brakes, suspension, and cooling systems, and document work while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in automotive technology or related field.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably within an authorized dealership or automotive service center.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, repair orders, and service instructions.
• Valid driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replace faulty mechanical components and parts as required.
• Perform repairs on engines, braking systems, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and other vehicle components.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Follow company policies, manufacturer standards, and technical procedures for all maintenance and repair activities.
• Complete assigned work in accordance with repair orders and technical instructions.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all repairs are completed to the required standards before vehicle release.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
• Report any additional repair requirements or spare parts needs to the Workshop Supervisor or Manager.
• Complete assigned jobs within the required time while meeting productivity and efficiency targets.
• Work effectively as part of the workshop team to achieve operational and customer service objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably within an authorized dealership or automotive service center
• Good knowledge of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, repair orders, and service instructions
• Basic knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems
• Valid driving license is preferred
