Job summary

Aa almutawa in Riyadh is seeking an automotive technician to diagnose vehicle faults and perform repairs according to supervisor instructions. The role emphasizes timely work according to target times, maintaining productivity, and adhering to company standards.

You will test drives, inspect vehicles, and secure approvals for parts and additional work. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of automotive experience, strong knowledge of auto electrical and mechanical systems, and solid communication

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Technical Engineering or ITI.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience within similar role in automotive sector.
• Knowledge of auto electrical and auto-mechanical parts and auto-components.
• Knowledge of computer literacy and workshop operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Road test and advise the technician on any fault found or any remedial work required.
• Inspect each vehicle for additional work requirements.
• Secure approval from the Workshop Supervisor for parts replacement, and/or additional work which may be required.
• Notify Workshop Supervisor ahead of time if the job completion deadline cannot be achieved.
• Maintain control of replaced parts in accord with company procedures warranty control, bagging if customer pay, core returns and scrap.
• Exercise care of customer\'s vehicles, utilizing covers and mats to avoid soiling the vehicle interior.
• Inspect for unreported damage or personal articles and advise supervisor of irregularities.
• Create effective use of special tools and equipment to improve work quality and productivity.
• Maintain thorough and current product knowledge, reading manufacturer\'s technical publications.
• Maintain relationships with customers by meeting and exceeding their potential.
• Assist in maintaining work area in a clean condition.
• Use safety equipment provided by the Company and notify supervisor of unsafe practices observed in the workshop
• Performing any other tasks as assigned by his/her direct Manager

Education
