Al-Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Company is seeking a Financial Controller to support day-to-day financial controlling activities related to sales and receivables, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, internal controls, SAP automation, and financial analysis.

The role involves monitoring regional accounting operations, reviewing customer contracts for pricing compliance and credit notes, and preparing GP analyses across segments and channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or finance or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, etc.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regional accounting operations to ensure compliance with company policies and coordinate with business departments to resolve issues.
• Review customer contracts for pricing compliance and ensure timely credit notes per contracts and promotions.
• Prepare sales and GP analysis by business segments, products, customer, and channel.
• Review GP by category/customer and investigate budget variances.
• Monitor trade discounts, DSI, op exp, customer incentives and accruals.
• Review monthly provisions for trade discounts, rebates, vendor support, commissions and incentives.
• Prepare periodical sales commission and incentive calculations and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate with IT to fix system issues, enhance SAP processes, and automation initiatives.
• Maintain proper records and documentation to align with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure high standards of confidentiality for commercially sensitive information.

Job description

To support the Financial Controller in managing day-to-day financial controlling activities related to sales and receivables, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, internal controls, SAP automation, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor regional accounting operations to ensure the compliance with company's policies and coordinate with business departments to resolve operational issues to maintain the workflow.
• Review customer contracts in accordance with company’s approved pricing matrices and ensure accurate and timely issuance of customers’ credit notes complying with contracts and valid promotions
• Prepare sales and GP analysis by business segments, products, customer, and channel.
• Review GP by category/customer and investigate budget variances
• Monitor trade discounts, DSI, operational expenses, customer incentives and related accruals
• Review monthly provisions for trade discounts, rebates, vendor support, commissions and incentives
• Prepare periodical sales commission, incentive calculations and ensure compliance with approved policy
• Coordinate with IT department to fix system issues, enhancement SAP processes, and automation initiatives
• Maintain proper and adequate records and documentation with respect to all processes pertaining to the department and to ensure the same is in line with company policies and procedures and pertinent regulatory requirements
• Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information including information pertaining to financial and confidential

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in accounting or finance or related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
