Job summary

Egis Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is offering an Architecture Intern position through the Tamheer internship program to gain hands-on experience in architectural design and project development.

You will assist in preparing drawings and technical documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp; create 3D models and renderings; research materials and building methods; attend design meetings; and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure design feasibility.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in architecture or related field.
• Experience with architectural software and basic drafting.
• Knowledge of building codes and design principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing architectural drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
• Support senior architects in design and development from concept to completion.
• Conduct material research and document project progress during site visits.

• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, plans, and technical documentation using industry-standard software
• Support senior architects in the design and development of building projects from concept through completion
• Conduct research on building materials, construction methods, and architectural styles relevant to project requirements
• Participate in site visits and document existing conditions, measurements, and project progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure design feasibility and compliance
• Analyze architectural designs and provide constructive feedback based on building codes and design principles
• Create 3D models and renderings to visualize design concepts and present ideas to stakeholders
• Maintain organized project files and documentation in accordance with company standards
• Attend design meetings and contribute ideas to enhance project outcomes
• Support the preparation of project proposals and presentations

• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and design standards
• Excellent technical drawing and drafting skills with attention to detail
• Strong spatial reasoning and visualization abilities
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
• Familiarity with Saudi building regulations and local construction standards (preferred)
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software (preferred)
