Job summary

At AECOM in Riyadh, we are seeking a licensed Senior Architect with 6–10 years of professional experience to lead architectural design and project delivery for major infrastructure projects. This on-site role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams, developing rigorous specifications, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the design process.

You will mentor junior staff, drive technical excellence, and collaborate with design and drafting teams to achieve integrated project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of professional architectural experience.
  • Current licensure as a Professional Architect (RA/AIA) or equivalent.
  • Expertise in architectural calculations, technical specs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software and BIM platforms.
  • Ability to manage complex assignments and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong mentorship and leadership capabilities with documented experience.

Job Description
Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and approve architectural drawings in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
  • Independently perform advanced technical assignments of varying complexity within approved project schedules and budgets, under the oversight of the Supervising Architect.
  • Coordinate technical and administrative activities across multiple disciplines and departments to ensure integrated project delivery and stakeholder alignment.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluation to assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel to foster professional development and maintain team excellence.
Required Experience

6-10 years of professional architectural experience

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; Master's degree in Architecture or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of professional architectural experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in design, technical documentation, and project delivery.
  • Current licensure as a Professional Architect (RA/AIA) or equivalent professional registration required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architectural calculations, technical specifications, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical assignments independently and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong mentorship and leadership capabilities with documented experience in professional development and team management.
