Job summary

Scale AI is building AI-powered applications for Saudi government clients, blending engineering leadership with direct client engagement. You will guide the creation of full-stack AI solutions, including data pipelines, ML models, APIs, and frontend delivery, while mentoring engineers and driving cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes translating government requirements into scalable technical outcomes and delivering high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering with AI/ML and full stack
• 3+ years of engineering leadership
• Hands-on with ML models and LLMs in production
• Full stack across backend, APIs, data pipelines and frontend
• Customer-facing role with government or enterprise clients
• Experience designing and integrating APIs at scale
• Translate complex government requirements into practical engineering solutions
• Ship high-quality features in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• GCC region experience or Arabic language a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers delivering AI-powered applications for KSA government clients.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for KSA stakeholders and translate concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Design, build, and optimize full-stack AI applications end-to-end, from data pipelines to APIs and frontend.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions including LLM features and intelligent automation.
• Build and maintain robust API integrations with government systems and third-party services.
• Partner with product, GTM, and government teams to define requirements and deliver from concept to production.
• Represent Scale in client workshops, demos, and executive briefings with KSA agencies.
