Job summary

Sanabil Venture Studio by Redesign Health in Riyadh seeks a Platform Lead to identify exceptional founders and source deals for SSRH to invest in. You will shape founder strategy, build the brand, and oversee the founder experience across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with US counterparts, leverage Redesign's infrastructure, and tailor strategies to the Saudi market. The role reports to the Senior Director of New Ventures in Riyadh.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience ideally within a VC or startup, preferably in an international context.
• Prior experience as a start-up founder and/or investor is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Excellent judge of top tier talent.
• Strong understanding of the KSA startup ecosystem.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive founder strategy to engage with brilliant potential healthcare founders for SSRH to invest in.
• Attract, engage with, and assess top founders by building a robust funnel of top tier founders to enter into due diligence with, via various mechanisms including brand and ecosystem development, active outbound, partnerships and events.
• Conduct due diligence with the investment team to assess the founder and concept and prepare them for the Investment Committee.
• Build and maintain a positive, professional founder journey selling founders on the value of Redesign.
• Build and maintain relationships with government entities (e.g., Monsha'at, Ministry of Health, Vision 2030 programs), universities, accelerators, and corporate partners.
• Organize strategic events such as Founder Salons, investor roundtables, and ecosystem workshops.
• Identify collaboration opportunities for Redesign portfolio companies within the Kingdom (pilots, partnerships, regulatory pathways).
• Proactively engage with founder talent through networking, relationship-building, and community engagement efforts to identify and nurture entrepreneurs for SSRH to invest in.
• Position the Sanabil Venture Studio by Redesign Health brand as a core contributor to Saudi Arabia's innovation and healthcare ecosystem, also informing the healthcare tech and venture ecosystem on our company.
