Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Systems Integration professional to partner with Sales and stakeholders, shaping the TSI opportunity pipeline and delivering technical proposals and submissions. You will manage the engineering scope for telecom and security packages, guiding design, FAT/SAT, installation, and handover.

The role requires deep knowledge of ACS, CCTV, PAGA, IDS, LAN/WAN, telephony, and structured cabling, with a focus on delivering secure, compliant solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology discipline preferred (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electrical and Computer Engineering).
• 10+ years in telecommunications systems integration (TSI) industry.
• Understanding of Honeywell TSI solutions including ACS, CCTV, PAGA, IDS, LAN/WAN, telephony, and security integrations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and stakeholders to identify and develop the TSI opportunity pipeline and support customer engagements through proposals and technical submissions.
• Manage end-to-end engineering scope for telecommunications and security packages, including design, FAT/SAT, installation supervision, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure deliverables meet contractual, quality, schedule, and cost targets while proactively managing risks and changes.

Purpose of the Job

• Partner with Sales and business stakeholders to identify, qualify, and develop the TSI opportunity pipeline; provide technical consultancy; define solution strategies; prepare and review proposals, estimates, and technical submissions; and support customer engagements through contract award and project execution.

• Manage the end-to-end engineering scope for telecommunications and security packages, including requirements analysis, solution architecture, detailed design, equipment selection, procurement support, configuration, factory acceptance testing (FAT), installation supervision, site acceptance testing (SAT), training, start-up, commissioning, and final technical handover.

• Ensure engineering deliverables meet contractual obligations, quality expectations, applicable codes and standards, cybersecurity requirements, schedule commitments, and cost targets; proactively manage technical risks, interfaces, changes, and escalations.

5. Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements

• Responsible for the technical scope of assigned special designs and functions.

• Site travel may be required for up to 20% of the time.

1. Education Required

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technology discipline is preferred. Acceptable fields include Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology and Computing, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

2. Work Experience Required

• More than 10 years of experience in the telecommunications systems integration (TSI) industry.

3. Technical Skills & Specific Knowledge Required

The role requires strong knowledge of the technologies and systems commonly included in Honeywell Telecommunications Systems Integration (TSI) solutions, including:

• Access Control Systems (ACS): Design and integration of personnel and vehicle access solutions, including facial-recognition and smart-card readers, flap barriers, full-height turnstiles, long-range RFID, hydraulic bollards, crash and boom barriers, automatic sliding gates, and visitor management systems.

• CCTV, Security, and Process Video Systems: Design and integration of video management platforms and camera systems for security and process monitoring.

• Public Address and General Alarm (PAGA) Systems: Plant-wide emergency broadcasting, alarm, and notification solutions, including Honeywell VARIODYN.

• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS): Perimeter and facility security solutions, including intelligent perimeter detection and drone-based surveillance.

• LAN/WAN Data Networks: Design and integration of resilient TCP/IP network infrastructure using industry-standard hardware and software platforms.

• Telephony, Hotline, and Collaboration Systems: IP telephony, hotline communications, and video-conferencing solutions.

• Structured Cabling Systems: Copper and fibre-optic physical network infrastructure supporting telecommunications and security systems.

• Radio Communication Systems: TETRA site-radio and marine-radio solutions.

• Meteorological and Marine Security Systems: Project-specific monitoring, communication, and security solutions integrated in accordance with customer and contractual requirements.

The candidate should understand how these solutions align with the following three integrated technology domains:

1. Process: Experion PKS (DCS), process video, and OneWireless.

2. Safety: Safety Manager, Fire and Gas (F&G), building fire, and PAGA.

3. Security: Experion Industrial Security, access control, security video, intrusion detection, work-time monitoring, and real-time location systems.

The role also requires the ability to integrate these technologies into a unified operational environment that enables operators to monitor events, coordinate responses, and manage emergencies from a common platform.
