Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. seeks a Project Control Specialist to support and manage project controls across assigned projects in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on cost control, schedule monitoring, forecasting, reporting, risk identification, and variance analysis.

You will collaborate with project managers, finance, planning, procurement and delivery teams to ensure accurate performance tracking and timely decision-making, leveraging Primavera P6, SAP, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; other disciplines may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project cost forecasts, budgets, schedules, and performance reports.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of baselines, schedules, cost plans, and progress measurement systems.
• Track project performance against baselines, including cost, schedule, risks, and variances.
• Prepare periodic project status reports and dashboards for management review.
• Analyze cost and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with finance for budgets, forecasts, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Support cash flow forecasting and cost-to-complete analysis.
• Prepare/deliver reports using Excel, Power BI, Primavera P6, SAP.
• Identify risks, delays, and cost impacts; support mitigation planning.
• Support change control processes and assess cost/schedule impacts.
• Maintain project records and documentation for audit and governance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and client requirements.

The Project Control Specialist will be responsible for supporting and managing project control activities across assigned projects, with a focus on cost control, schedule monitoring, forecasting, reporting, risk identification, and variance analysis .

The role will work closely with project managers, finance, planning, procurement, and delivery teams to ensure accurate project performance tracking, timely reporting, and effective decision-making. The position requires strong analytical skills, hands‑on experience with project controls tools, and the ability to maintain alignment between project execution, financial performance, and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project cost forecasts, budgets, schedules, and performance reports.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of project baselines, schedules, cost plans, and progress measurement systems.
• Track project performance against approved baselines, including cost, schedule, progress, risks, and key variances.
• Prepare periodic project status reports and dashboards for management review.
• Analyze cost and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate budgets, forecasts, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Support cash flow forecasting and cost-to-complete analysis.
• Prepare and deliver reports using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Primavera P6, SAP , and other project controls tools.
• Identify project risks, delays, and cost impacts, and support mitigation planning.

• Maintain accurate project records and documentation for audit and governance purposes.
• Ensure project control activities comply with internal policies, client requirements, and organizational standards.
• Promote project controls best practices across assigned projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; Finance, Construction Management, or related disciplines may also be considered.

• 5–6 years of experience in project controls, cost control, planning, scheduling, or project performance management.

• Strong knowledge of cost forecasting, schedule forecasting, variance analysis, and project reporting .

• Hands‑on experience with Primavera P6 and SAP .

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel .

• Experience with Power BI or similar dashboard/reporting tools.

• Good understanding of finance and accounting principles related to project management.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment.

• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-SP, RMP, CCP, PSP, or equivalent certification.

• Experience in multinational or regional project environments.

• Knowledge of Earned Value Management, S-curves, cost-loaded schedules, and project performance KPIs.

• Experience supporting engineering, construction, infrastructure, energy, technology, or data center projects.
