Job summary

Glassline is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant (AP/AR) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, maintaining precise financial records, processing supplier and customer transactions, and preparing payments under the guidance of the Lead Accountant.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, experience in AP/AR, and knowledge of ERP systems; JD Edwards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting processes.
• Knowledge of supplier invoice processing, PO matching, customer billing and receipt allocation.
• Ability to reconcile supplier and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Experience preparing payment runs with proper documentation and approvals.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; JD Edwards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Must be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions by maintaining accurate financial records, processing supplier and customer transactions, preparing payments, performing reconciliations, and following up on outstanding collections while working under the guidance of the Lead Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
• Process supplier invoices, customer billing, and receipt allocations accurately.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts while investigating discrepancies.
• Prepare payment runs with complete supporting documents and required approvals.
• Monitor aging reports, advances, retentions, and outstanding balances.
• Follow up on overdue customer collections in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Requirements
