SHORT DESCRIPTION

We are seeking astrategic and experienced Academic Dean to lead our academic programs and initiatives at IMCMedical College in Jeddah - Saudi Arabia.

JOB SUMMARY

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment, driving academic excellence, and ensuring that our educational offerings align with industry standards and student needs.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement academic strategies that promote student success and institutional effectiveness
• Oversee curriculum development, assessment processes, and faculty performance to ensure academic integrity and quality
• Lead accreditation efforts and ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and regulations
• Foster collaboration among academic departments to enhance interdisciplinary programs and initiatives
• Engage with faculty, staff, and students to cultivate a vibrant academic community and address emerging educational needs
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to align with institutional goals and priorities
• Represent the academic division in institutional planning and decision-making processes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctoral degree (PhD holder) in a health-related discipline.
• Must hold an academic rank of at least Associate Professor.

Professional Experience

• Eight (8) years of academic experience in related field.
• Four (4) years in an administrative leadership position.
• Four (4) years experience in teaching, research, and service in health sciences.
