A Steward / Kitchen Porter will ensure the proper maintenance of all house and kitchen operations, as well as the cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation and storerooms in the hotel.

As a Steward / Kitchen Porter, you will oversee the hotel back-of-house operations by ensuring proper maintenance of all equipment and dishwashing machines, and providing the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation of all food and storage outlets. Specifically, your tasks will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining tidiness of the restaurant(s), kitchen(s), and all food outlets within the hotel
• Keeping storerooms clean and organized at all times
• Ensuring hygiene and health and safety standards are met consistently
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to provide excellent service to our guests

A Steward / Kitchen Porter at Hilton represents our brand and works on behalf of our guests and team members. To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience working with chemicals and maintaining safety protocols
• A valid and current qualification in food hygiene or similar (proof may be required)
• A passion for delivering excellent service
• A professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
