Job Summary

The Data Visualization Specialist is responsible for designing and developing impactful data visualizations and dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role combines expertise in visual design, data analysis, and technical reporting tools to create intuitive and actionable reporting solutions. The specialist plays a vital role in transforming complex datasets into clear, user-friendly visual stories aligned with business needs, using industry best practices and secure data governance frameworks.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-impact, visually engaging dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Create visualizations that consolidate key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational data into cohesive, actionable formats.
• Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) extensively to build calculations and logic within dashboards.
• Apply UX and design best practices to enhance data readability and user interaction.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of data visualizations by following data modeling and validation procedures.
• Maintain and apply a library of report templates suited for various data types and business use cases.
• Support the development of a secure and scalable data governance framework for dashboards and reports.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in data visualization to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance on dashboard performance optimization, report adoption, and user training as needed.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Power BI and strong command of DAX for formula creation, report development, and template utilization.
• Deep understanding of visual design principles, user experience (UX), and effective layout for dashboards and reports.
• Ability to analyze and organize data using statistical and design techniques to produce meaningful and actionable insights.
• Knowledge of secure data handling, report management frameworks, and industry standards in dashboard/report design.
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 3 years working experience, 2 years relevant working experience, 1 year GCC experience is a plus.
