What Does a Business Systems Analyst Do?


* Partner with business stakeholders to capture and validate requirements, support ERP application setup, and ensure continuous improvement

* Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for IFS solutions and key business systems across offshore operations and ship repair domains


What Are the Key Responsibilities?


* Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and system integrations

* Design scalable IT solutions in collaboration with application owners and solution teams

* Manage and support implementation of IFS ERP and PMS integrations

* Lead efforts in change request prioritization, issue resolution, and configuration setup

* Coordinate user training, test plans, regression testing, and go-live activities

* Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including functional specs, business cases, and gap analyses

* Drive risk identification, mitigation, and compliance with audit findings

* Promote system-wide synergies and minimize redundant customizations


What Skills Are Needed for a Business Systems Analyst in Qatar?


Education & Experience:


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

* 8+ years of experience in business analysis

* At least 3 years in process analysis, preferably in offshore or ship repair projects

* Proven track record in IFS ERP implementation and PMS-ERP integration


Technical & Business Skills:


* Expert-level proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and SQL

* Familiarity with project lifecycle management and quality assurance

* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to lead business application implementations and process enhancements
