Responsibilities
- Execute outlet operations including food and beverage promotions, customer service and inventories.
- Ensure POS and cash handling procedures are followed as per company policy.
- Analyze outlet sales items on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Review monthly financial performance updates (sales vs budget, item category breakdown, etc.).
- Lead front‑of‑house employees in training on restaurant standards including alcoholic and non‑alcoholic services, food preparation, service and customer service.
- Monitor employees, sales, and operations as a restaurant manager.
- Oversee outlet service performance, delegating responsibilities, scheduling, coaching, correcting, evaluating, PDR, and mentoring of staff.
- Maintain outlet inventory, cleanliness, food rotation and menu service consistency.
- Maintain policies and procedures, adhere to HACCP and alcoholic beverage guidelines.
- Assist F&B management with service preparations, kitchen rules, service standards, cleanliness and inventory controls for F&B.
- Update staff on daily specials, promotional items and plans.
- Train team leaders for specific duties and responsibilities.
- Assist in maintaining P&L accountability, cost controls and inventories.
- Conduct inventory for par levels of food and beverages, establish inventory control methods and purchase procedures.
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning and operation of outlet and service equipment.
- Continuously enhance the guest experience.
- Assist in administrative functions such as reporting, quality assurance and department meetings.
- Maintain and demonstrate strong knowledge of food and beverage and industry trends.
- Provide direct hands‑on approach during busy meal periods to deliver quality, prompt food service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Deputize for the Restaurant Manager in their absence and liaise as necessary.
Qualifications
- Relevant vocational or trade qualification.
- Accredited hygiene and sanitation desirable.
- Minimum 4 years supervisory experience in commercial food and beverage operations, or 3 years in a 5‑star hotel/resort F&B operations.
- Knowledge of HACCP system is an advantage.
- Ability to monitor and oversee all HACCP & QA programs efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Micros POS.
- Control costs in disposables, food and markup.
- Fluency in Arabic, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian is an advantage.
