Responsible for dispensing best-in-class optical and vision consultations at the location. Collaborates with the store manager and sales team to consistently achieve high levels of customer service and store targets.
Job Description
- Perform eye testing and prescribe lenses
- Dispense and sell optical frames, contact lenses, and sunglasses
- Check optical frames and contact lenses for accuracy and comfort
- Advise customers on eyewear options, optical lenses, and contact lenses
- Achieve sales targets related to optical frames, sunglasses, contact lenses, and accessories
- Support sales staff in daily transactions
- Manage in-shop inventory and place stock orders
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Coordinate with eye care product suppliers' representatives
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry
- Preferably with a valid QCHP Optometrist practicing license; candidates meeting QCHP eligibility requirements may also apply
- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in a retail optical setting
- Strong knowledge of lenses and eyewear products
- Understanding of vision disorders
- Familiarity with the latest vision correction equipment and techniques
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
- Only for Arabic nationality
- Good personality and professional grooming
- Exceptional customer service skills
