Wedding Planner (Contract Position)

Location: Al-Rayyan, Qatar

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Wedding Planner to join our team on a contract basis. As a Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of weddings, from initial consultation with clients to the day-of coordination. This position is open to applicants of all nationalities and genders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with potential clients to understand their vision and budget for their wedding
  • Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, including venues, caterers, florists, photographers, etc.
  • Create detailed timelines and schedules for the wedding day
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure all services are delivered as per the contract
  • Manage all aspects of the wedding budget and provide periodic updates to clients
  • Assist with designing and styling the wedding event space
  • Oversee the set-up and decoration of the event space on the day of the wedding
  • Ensure smooth execution of the wedding day by managing any last-minute issues or changes
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the planning process
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning, preferably in weddings
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Experience working with biometric passports is preferred but not required
  • Preference for candidates who can provide their own accommodation in Al-Rayyan
