Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.

• Prior crane operation experience is not required, but some knowledge of crane operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight onto trucks or other vehicles.
• Move materials around job sites or within warehouses.
• Set up equipment and operate cranes in a safe manner within all company or local regulations.
• Inspect cranes before use and report any defects or issues immediately.
• Carry out daily safety checks on the crane and ensure it is in good working order before use.
• Maintain records of inspections and repairs.
• Adhere to height restrictions set by national laws.
• Operate crane controls according to instructions from supervisors.
• Keep track of daily activities and report changes in material condition or loading requirements.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and communicate progress updates with other workers on site.
