Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership is seeking a Technician in Doha, Qatar to resolve escalated desktop, infrastructure and application queries and provide efficient solutions. Charterhouse is working with a leading investment company based in Qatar. Our client is looking to hire a Technician to join their operation on a permanent basis.

As part of this role you will be responsible for resolving escalated desktop, infrastructure and application queries promptly and providing efficient solutions via troubleshooting techniques. You will also provide feedback to users and communicate progress of incident and problem resolution.

In addition you will set up and install desktop systems with standard configurations and link to the network and printer. You will be required to provide assistance with technology products such as desktop and laptop equipment including applications installation, support and end-user training.

The successful candidate should hold a certificate or diploma in a related discipline with at least 3 years experience of service support. You should have the ability to handle large volumes of email, using pre-defined templates and dragging emails from scratch. It is important you have the capability to pay attention to detail, ensure calls are updated, customer calls are returned and tasks are completed on time. It is essential you have excellent English communication skills whilst Arabic fluency is desirable.
