Job summary

Parsons is seeking an IT Support Analyst to provide onsite IT support for the Doha region in Qatar. You will handle end-user IT requests, troubleshoot hardware/software, and collaborate with senior teams to resolve issues.

The role requires a 5+ years background in IT support, strong English communication skills, and familiarity with Windows OS, Office 365, and security tools. On-call weekend/holiday support is part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Computer Science or related field with minimum 5+ years of related work experience providing support to end users or working in an IT support role.
• Ability to identify, analyze and resolve technical issues with hardware and software configurations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating system, Office 365, Antivirus, AI tools and troubleshooting tools, PCs and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Provides onsite and remote IT technical support to end users of Parsons PCs, workstations and related software and hardware.
• Troubleshoots standard IT issues and refers complex problems to senior staff or other IT groups.
• Maintains knowledge of MIS environment and Parsons workstation configurations.
• Follows Parsons policies and reports service requests following standard procedures.
• Provides Service Desk on-call support for non-business hours.

Job Description:

IT Support AnalystDoha, QatarParsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Support Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to provide onsite IT support for Qatar region.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provides onsite and remote IT technical support to end users of Parsons personal computers, workstations and related software and hardware
• Support end user IT questions and troubleshoots standard IT issues, questions, problems and failures with Parsons hardware, software, peripherals or workstations, remotely via telephone, email or Instant Messenger
• Recognizes, categorizes and isolates end user questions, issues and problems; either resolves the situation or refers it to more senior Service Desk staff or to other Parsons IT groups
• Maintains a good general knowledge of the MIS environment and the technologies associated with individual computers, workstations, software and associated hardware as well as the Parsons standard workstation configurations
• Follows Parsons Policies, procedures and standards in responding to end user requests and providing end user support
• Documents and reports all service requests and their outcome, following standard Parsons procedures and practices
• Provides Service Desk on-call support for non-business hours (Weekends and Holidays)
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position that may be appropriate

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor or Diploma in Computer Science or related field with minimum 5+ years of related work experience providing support to end users or working in an IT support role.
• Ability to identify, analyze and resolve technical issues, questions and problems with hardware and software configurations.
• A good knowledge of Microsoft operating system, Office 365, Antivirus, Latest AI tools and troubleshooting tools and applications as well as a very good knowledge of personal computer technology, including a variety of computer models windows, mac, printers, mdm devices and peripherals.
• Written and oral communication skills in English is must for the position (Arabic will be added advantage), including the ability to speak very well in basic professional situations and present technical data in a logical manner that is easy to understand (may include communication via telephone, in person, or presenting to small groups).
• Ability to write moderately complex documents (may include emails, procedures, presentations). Typically communicates with a wide variety of individuals (employees and managers) throughout the organization and outside of the organization (i.e. clients, vendors).

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Microsoft Certified Professional (O365) CompTIA A+ required ( similar A+ Hardware trainings)
• Copilot & AI tools knowledge
• ITIL Certified desired
