Job summary

Parsons in Doha is seeking an IT Support Analyst to deliver onsite IT support for the Qatar region, covering end-user devices, software, and hardware. The role requires a Bachelor or Diploma in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of experience.

You will troubleshoot, document requests, and provide timely resolutions, including after-hours on-call support. Proficiency in Windows, Office 365, and AI tools is valued, with English required and Arabic an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in IT support or end-user support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, printers and peripherals.
• Proficient in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Certifications: O365, CompTIA A+ required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote IT support for end users of Parsons devices and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and peripheral issues and escalate as needed.
• Document service requests and outcomes following Parsons procedures.
• Provide on-call support during weekends/holidays as required.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex problems.

Job description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Support Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to provide onsite IT support for Qatar region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides onsite and remote IT technical support to end users of Parsons personal computers, workstations and related software and hardware
• Support end user IT questions and troubleshoots standard IT issues, questions, problems and failures with Parsons hardware, software, peripherals or workstations, remotely via telephone, email or Instant Messenger
• Recognizes, categorizes and isolates end user questions, issues and problems; either resolves the situation or refers it to more senior Service Desk staff or to other Parsons IT groups
• Maintains a good general knowledge of the MIS environment and the technologies associated with individual computers, workstations, software and associated hardware as well as the Parsons standard workstation configurations
• Follows Parsons Policies, procedures and standards in responding to end user requests and providing end user support
• Documents and reports all service requests and their outcome, following standard Parsons procedures and practices
• Provides Service Desk on-call support for non-business hours (Weekends and Holidays)
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position that may be appropriate

Experience Required

Bachelor or Diploma in Computer Science or related field with minimum 5+ years of related work experience providing support to end users or working in an IT support role.

Skills Required

• Ability to identify, analyze and resolve technical issues, questions and problems with hardware and software configurations
• A good knowledge of Microsoft operating system, Office 365, Antivirus, Latest AI tools and troubleshooting tools and applications as well as a very good knowledge of personal computer technology, including a variety of computer models windows, mac, printers, mdm devices and peripherals
• Written and oral communication skills in English is must for the position (Arabic will be added advantage), including the ability to speak very well in basic professional situations and present technical data in a logical manner that is easy to understand (may include communication via telephone, in person, or presenting to small groups)
• Ability to write moderately complex documents (may include emails, procedures, presentations). Typically communicates with a wide variety of individuals (employees and managers) throughout the organization and outside of the organization (i.e. clients, vendors)
• Microsoft Certified Professional (O365) CompTIA A+ required ( similar A+ Hardware trainings)
• Copilot & AI tools knowledge
