Job summary

Qatar Airways Group is seeking a Planning and Resourcing Manager to join its Operations team at Hamad International Airport. You will lead workforce planning, forecasting and resource optimisation to ensure manpower is effectively planned and deployed in line with operational requirements.

You will analyse operational demand, workforce availability, skills, leave, training, absence and historical patterns to develop effective workforce plans.

Qualifications

• Qatari National with a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 6 years' experience related to the role.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning, forecasting and resource optimisation activities.
• Develop longer-term staffing and headcount plans based on operational demand.
• Analyse workforce requirements against available resources, skills and volumes.
• Oversee workforce scheduling, roster planning, leave management and resource allocation.
• Identify workforce gaps and recommend staffing solutions.
• Develop contingency plans for peak periods and disruptions.
• Support the use of workforce planning and rostering systems.
• Collaborate with operational and HR stakeholders to align manpower with priorities.
• Lead workforce-related change and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate workforce requirements for training and events.
• Lead, coach and develop the workforce management team.
