Job summary

Confidential Jobs in Doha seeks Head of Events to plan and manage all organizational events from concept to delivery. You will develop long-term event strategies, supervise production activities, and ensure timely, high-quality execution within budget.

Responsibilities include managing end-to-end logistics, coordinating with communications, leading the events team, measuring outcomes with MIRs, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Arabic proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Business Management or related field.
• 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience, including leadership roles in events within a large organization.
• Experience in strategy development, budgeting, and quality management.
• Proficiency in analysis, concept development, change management, coaching, mentoring and reporting; Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term strategies and event plans aligning with the mission and brand.
• Conceptualize, plan, and oversee production across the organization for timely, budget-conscious events.
• Support SOPs, policies and formats and ensure adherence to processes.
• Supervise and execute event project plans across the organization for community, national and corporate events.
• Manage end-to-end planning and logistics: venue, entertainment, invitations, catering, AV, media, webcasting, security, signage, and gifts.
• Oversee all aspects of event execution including venue reservations and tech setups.
• Coordinate with communications and internal units to secure resources for flawless execution.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders; lead and guide the events team.
• Monitor event requests, follow up on tasks, and submit Monthly Information Reports (MIRs).
• Conduct post-event evaluations using qualitative and quantitative metrics to assess success.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards; facilitate internal audits and corrective actions.
• Provide regular progress reports and outcome analyses to senior management; assist in annual plans, KPIs, scorecards, and budgets.
