Job summary

QatarEnergy in Qatar requires a Senior Maintenance Engineer (HVAC/Mechanical) to oversee multi-discipline building services and coordinate with consultants and project teams across GCC sites. The role emphasizes safe, cost-effective delivery and adherence to standards.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/HVAC design with 7+ years in refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical maintenance, and strong familiarity with BS-EN, ISO, NFPA, NEC, ASHRAE, ANSI, ASTM, and local Qatar/QCS

Qualifications

• Min 7 years experience in Refrigeration/ Heating and Cooling/ Mechanical maintenance/ building and construction works.
• Strong technical expertise in BS-EN, ISO, NFPA, NEC, ASHRAE, ANSI, ASTM and Qatar QCS and QCD codes and criteria.
• GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and coordinate on multi-discipline engineering activities related to (HVAC/MECH) building services and building innovation systems with consultants, end-user divisions, contractors and project stakeholders to ensure timely, safe, and cost-efficient delivery.
• Ensure tasks are carried out in compliance with codes, standards and project specifications.
• Support health and safety administration across facilities.
