Job summary

QatarEnergy is seeking a capable professional to manage contract execution for preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and utility systems across assigned assets and facilities. The role ensures high availability of utilities, piping and related infrastructure while enforcing corporate design and construction standards.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical engineering diploma, has 5–7 years in facilities/utilities within oil and gas or petrochemicals, and can supervise teams,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years total mechanical trade experience in Facilities & Utilities in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical process industries.
• Working knowledge of discipline activities (methods, materials, practices and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of associated facilities/equipment).
• Experience in execution of maintenance schedules, and support for budgeting and estimating.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Good PC knowledge of MS Office, maintenance software and SAP Maintenance skills.
• Good supervisory, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work.
• Ability to assign and supervise workers.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, employees and contractor staff.
• Good oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and control contract execution for preventive and corrective maintenance activities of mechanical and utility systems.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of the utility systems, piping, WWTP and infrastructures.
• Enforce implementation of QatarEnergy Corporate Design and Construction regulations, policies and standards.
