QatarEnergy seeks a senior Mechanical/Building Services Engineer to provide technical design and engineering services for building services projects. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality work per QatarEnergy procedures, while balancing quality, schedule, cost, and HSE.

Requirements include 10 years post graduate experience (6 in Oil & Gas), Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, and preferably Chartered Engineer status.

• Experience in applying mechanical building services standards and codes.
• Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality in multi-project environments.

Job description

Primary Purpose of the Job

Provide technical design and engineering services in Mechanical Engineering (Building Services) for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with QatarEnergy procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE.

Required Experience and Skills

10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.

Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and codes related to Mechanical Engineering (Building Services).

Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.

Good communications and presentation skills with fluency in English.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.

Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.
