Job summary

CAE Aviation in Doha is seeking an Inventory & Logistics Specialist to maximise simulator equipment readiness. You will manage spares, repairables and consumables, maintain traceability, and collaborate across Engineering, Procurement and external suppliers to secure cost-effective stockholding.

Responsibilities include monitoring shortages, discrepancies, and lifecycle asset configuration, while supporting procurement, import/export compliance and efficient distribution.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, logistics, inventory or material-support operations.
• Experience using computerized inventory or asset-management systems.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with competing requirements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with technical teams, management, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse material-related issues and propose practical solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Commercial awareness linking inventory, availability and cost.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory, asset and material records throughout the lifecycle.
• Monitor stock levels, identify shortages and obsolescence risks impacting simulator availability.
• Investigate discrepancies and support corrective actions to maintain stock accuracy.
• Ensure asset traceability and configuration management across lifecycle.
• Support procurement and lifecycle activities with accurate inventory data.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, despatch and goods movement per procedures.
• Prepare equipment for shipment and coordinate transport with approved carriers.
• Support import/export compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Provide timely material availability to Maintenance and Engineering teams.
• Drive continuous improvements in inventory, repairables and logistics processes.
