Job summary

CAE in Doha is seeking a Logistics, Stores and Inventory Support role to maximise the availability of simulator and synthetic training equipment. You will control spares, repairable assets, consumables and equipment throughout their lifecycle, and work with Engineering, Procurement, Finance and external suppliers to ensure accuracy and cost-effective stockholding.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, logistics, inventory, supply chain or material-support operations.
• Experience using computerised inventory and/or asset-management systems.
• Good understanding of inventory-control processes, including stock reconciliation and traceability.
• Ability to analyse material-related issues and identify practical solutions.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills in busy environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to cross-functional teams.
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Commercial awareness of inventory management and cost.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory, asset and material records.
• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or obsolescence.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of simulator assets and configurations.
• Ensure asset accountability and traceability throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage repairable assets and coordinate with suppliers and repair organisations.
• Monitor repair turnaround times and supplier performance.
• Support procurement and lifecycle-management with inventory information.
• Process goods receipt, storage, issue, return and despatch.
• Coordinate shipment and transportation with approved carriers.
• Support import/export activities and regulatory compliance.
• Provide material availability to Maintenance and Engineering teams.
• Prioritise logistics activities to operational needs.
• Provide inventory data to minimise downtime and support training delivery.
• Support audits, reporting and performance monitoring for inventory and supply chain.
