Job summary

CAE Inc is hiring for a logistics and inventory role focused on ensuring simulator and training equipment availability in Doha, Qatar. The role demands rigorous inventory control, asset traceability, and close collaboration with Maintenance, Engineering and Procurement teams to optimise stockholding and compliance.

You will manage repairable assets, coordinate with suppliers, and support lifecycle decisions with accurate data.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, logistics, inventory, supply chain or material-support operations.
• Experience using computerised inventory and/or asset-management systems.
• Strong understanding of inventory-control processes including stock reconciliation, traceability and discrepancy investigation.
• Ability to analyse material-related issues and identify practical solutions.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems.
• Commercial awareness of how inventory management affects equipment availability and cost.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory, asset and material records within TCMS with traceability and reconciliation.
• Maintain auditable records of simulator assets, components and configuration changes.
• Manage repairable assets, monitor turnaround times, and liaise with engineering, procurement and suppliers.
• Support procurement and lifecycle-management decisions with accurate data.
• Process goods receipt, storage, issue, despatch and shipments with approved carriers.
• Provide inventory information to minimise downtime and support training delivery.
